This fantastic book is set to transform my life!
The only thing is I don't have time to sit and blog about it at the moment as this isn't blogging time, its night prayer time. Not a very good start!!!!!

The agony of the parish council meeting
There is nothing like a parish council meeting to raise your blood pressure.
As our Catholic family gathers together to discuss "matters arising" some of the worst qualities of human nature rear their ugly head.
Actually compared to some parish meetings this one was not too bad, I was back home for ten o'clock which is a bonus.
It was a pleasant surprise that we had the reading taken from the evening prayer, James 4: 11-12. as part of our prayer at the start of the meeting.
I'd said my evening prayer before I went out and had thought how appropriate. " Brothers (And sisters, they can be worse!!!), do not slander one another. etc etc ---- Unfortunately two "Ladies" sat very near to me obviously hadn't heeded the words. MEEEEOOOW ---saucer of milk table1.
